I have recently finished quite a bit of projects that have been lingering in various stages of completeness for the last few months.
First up is an Imperial Guard tank that has been sitting for quite a while. We recently got back into Warhammer 40,000 and that motivated me to finish it up. The crewmen were fun to paint, as was the map that one of them is holding. I think that the battle damage is a little heavy handed, but I am getting there. I have only painted two tanks, but there more I get my brain around the techniques, they will get better and better.
Up next is a jet for my Dark Angel army. This one has sat in a box for literally a year, half painted. I was not looking forward to edge highlighting all the black, but once I got going on it, it was not that bad. I am really happy with how it looks so far. Keep in mind that it is pictured without the cockpit canopy.
Next up are some Skaven that I have painted for my growing rat army for Age of Sigmar. First are the weapon teams that I got from the Island of Blood set for 8th edition Warhammer. The Warpflame teams absolute crush it in the game, taking out at many as D6 enemy per shooting phase. They were really fun to paint as well. The mortar team is not as good in the game, but was a challenge to paint because of the glowing orbs.
Next for the Skaven is a WIP of a Greyseer that I have had for a long time, but have not painted. Once I finally got motivated to get going on him I was glad that I did because he is coming out really well. The left arm is not attached to make it easier to paint. I will post a picture of the whole model (with all its limbs) when I finish him up.
