I have just wrapped up the first half of my good-guy army, the Stormcast Eternals. These god like warriors are the ultimate protectors of all that is good.
Their general is riding a celestial beast known as a Dracoth. He is not to be messed with and can really deal out the damage in the game. I have gotten to the point where the gold is pretty easy and quick to paint and can be done well without a ton of effort.
I worked really hard on the skin of the beast to make it look as realistic as possible. His armor has a ton of decoration that add to the overall look quite nicely. His mask and helmet also make him stand out, with the face of the lion on the top of his helm.
I can’t send him into battle alone. Below are the completed units that he will fight with. First up the Retributors. Armed with giant hammers, this unit can both dish out and take mass amounts of damage. They are the elite units of the Stormcast and is likely the first of two that I will paint for this army.
The next squad are the standard foot troops for the Stormcast, the Liberators. Some of the best base infantry in the game, they can take on all but the toughest of enemy units and heroes.
Their Sergeant is the one with the red plume, showing his rank and allegiance to his lord commander shown in the first picture. More to come soon for this great army.
Mr. Mason awesome post. You made me keep reading and reading until the end. I really liked the part when you sad “I worked really hard on the skin of the best to make it look as realistic as possible” AWSOME POST. Keep it going Mr Mason
