I wrapped up the final parts of the biggest model for the Imperial Fists.
I added decals to it to give it all the appropriate markings and squad numbers. Decals are basically fancy modeling stickers that require a bit of work to get right, but they end up looking painted on.
I am really happy with how he came out and might do another one in the future with different options.
Here are a few different shots of the big man all finished.
From this view, you can clearly see the Fists symbol and the squad markings. He is the 5th dreadnought (V) in the second company (II). This shoulder pad is my favorite part of this process, as the symbol itself came out really well.
On the picture below, you can see the elites symbol (the white cross) and his status as a veteran (the black skull). The V for his number and the II for the company are repeated here.
Overall I could not be happier with how this project came out. The yellow was a bit of a chore, but getting all of the blends down was a fantastic challenge. I will definitely be doing more for this army going forward and will post pictures as I do.
