I wrapped up a couple of projects that have been on my painting desk for a bit of time in the last few weeks. It is a great feeling to finish something that you have given 20-30 hours of time to and to be happy with the final results.
First up are my very small Imperial Fists army. These will ally with my Imperial Guard army at first, but eventually I would love for them to be their own force. I started with the tactical marines, as having a base of these is really the most logical place to start.
The yellow recipe on these guys is really time consuming but really satisfying to paint. They are a bit more mustard colored than most of the Fists you see, and I am fine with that. The transfers on the shoulder pads came out really well and gave them that final piece of detail they needed.
Next up is an army from a whole different universe and time period. The Stormcast are the best of the best, fighting the villains of the Mortal Realms in their shiny golden armor.
The first model carries a trumpet of sorts, to call the warriors to attention and to command and inspire the on the battlefield.
The second unit I finished this week was also from that army and are called Liberators. These are the foot soldiers of the Stormcast and are found right on the front lines fighting versus evil.
Thats it for now. Plenty of other things on the table right now that I will happily share in coming weeks.
How do you do those tiny little designs???
How do you make the toy soldiers, do you buy them?
