Over break I did a fair amount of painting and I have some new stuff to show off.
First up is the newest and largest addition to my Blood Bowl football team, the Azyr Aces. This game is a super strategic and very fun game that roughly resembles US football, except that the players are orcs, elves, humans and even a skeleton team (that my brother plays).
He was very fun to paint, as with the larger models, details are not quite so hard to pick out. I decided that even though he is huge, and larger than most players on the field, he is still playing a very violent game without a helmet on. The end result of that is going to be that your face is going to get a bit smashed! I decided to give him one really badly bruised eye and another that looks like it is not in great shape either. Several of his teeth are missing and he generally is not the kind of guy you would want to bring home to meet your parents.
I decided to make him unlucky number 13 after in his first game he rolled 1’s (not a good thing) on 5 out of his first 7 rolls. Terrible luck to say the least. Since then, he has been great in the game, so maybe the 13 was a good call.
Here is the final shot of the whole team.
Up next is a new project. This female warrior is part of the Stormcast Eternals, demigod warriors who protect the innocent and weak. I really like the way that she came out and I look forward to painting her two comrades. I especially like how her cloak came out, as well as the blueish gems she has on her armor and weapons.
wow, so detailed! must have took you a long time to make that!
