I have been working on a set of models from a game called Silver Tower. If you are in to games, it is one known as a Dungeon Crawler. You and several heroes are exploring an unknown location, in search of treasure or answers. Of course along the way you meet all kinds of nefarious badguys, including the one you see in the pictures.
This guy, officially known as Ogroid Thaumaturge is the main lieutenant in the game. He controls all of the minions, and answers only to the main wizard in the Silver Tower. He is mostly muscle, but does have some magic that he can dish out as well.
I have painted two heroes from this set and they are shown below. The first is a Stormcast Eternal, one of the Mortal Realms mightiest.
Accompanying him is this amazing dwarf, known as a Fyreslayer. Not one to mess with, he is on a quest to find gold at all costs.
These two heroes (along with two others, who are unpainted) fight through the Silver Tower facing all sorts of baddies.
The models shown above are some of the demon badguys that you will face off against in the game. The pink ones become the blue ones, and the blue ones become the yellow guys, so they are quite difficult to get through. If you roll poorly on the advisory table, you might have to face my latest project, Ogroid.
This monster was really challenging to paint. The transitions from his grey chest to his blue back took quite a bit of work, as did the horns on both his head and staff. I especially like how his hands came out, as if they are drawing on magical power and are going to unleash it on someone.
Here is a shot with the heroes and Ogroid facing off.
More of the models from this set are on my painting table as we speak. More to follow.
I love the guy with the orange beard and I think that the Ogroid guy looks really cool with the blue fire stuff coming out of his weapon!
I don’t know why you say you are not a good Artis
